Is it easy to get started with the software?

The Vision Plus optician software works over the cloud. A new practice can be setup within 12 hours. The software itself is highly configurable ready to mould around your business processes.

Our large operations department is readily available for training and support during go-live on any day as per your preference.

What is the next step after I purchase the Vision Plus optician software?

A practice can go operational with the Vision Plus optician software in less than 12 hours if no data conversion is required from the earlier system.

It may take up to 48 hours for data conversion if dataset format of the earlier system is not compliant with data format required by VisionPlus. A one-time database conversion fee will be applicable.

Does Vision Plus optician software team provide on-premise training and assistance during go-live?

Vision Plus team provides all required training & assistance via online communication only. As Vision Plus optician software is cloud based entire setup and configuration can be set up online by the team for your standalone/ multichain practice. We are committed to providing unlimited training and support whenever required during and after go-live.

Will I be able to configure the Vision Plus optician software to suit my practice’s specific requirements?

Yes, you will be able to configure the Vision Plus optician software to suit your individual practice’s specific business and operational requirements. The Vision Plus optician software provides role-rights permission module with which system admin can limit the access of employees to few specific modules only. For example, a receptionist will be able to log in and perform tasks related to her ‘Reception’ module only and won’t be able to access ‘Patient Examination Module’ (and vice versa).
But the Practice Owner/ system admin can get the bird-eye view of all the operations across different practice operations using Vision Plus software dashboard & reports.

Software Features
Once on-boarded with the Vision Plus optician software, will patients and potential customers be able to book appointments through my practice’s website 24x7?

The Vision Plus optician currently does not offer appointment booking functionality through the website. But a practice can offer 24×7 appointments booking to its patients or potential customers via Vision Plus mobile app. The practice can avail this feature by paying a one-time fee of £897 + taxes.
The mobile app is a white labelled product which will be rebranded with the name of the onboarding practice.

Does Vision Plus provide an online system?

Yes. The Vision Plus optician software is cloud based and can be operated online from anywhere 24×7. Vision Plus can be accessed seamlessly & securely over the Mac, Windows PCs & Tablets, iPad, iPhone or any device with the internet connectivity through 3G or Wi-Fi.

Can I take my records with me when I go home or to an outreach location?

Yes. The Vision Plus optician software can be accessed from anywhere 24×7 from an internet connected device.
If you are concerned about your practice’s sensitive data being exposed to the cloud, the Vision Plus software can be customised to make the different modules accessible by desired employees only during work hours on the days when he/she is working.

Is Vision Plus optician software flexible enough to adapt to my practice's changing needs as it grows or changes in the future?

Yes. The Vision Plus optician software is a perfect solution for an independent practice or a group comprising of multiple practices. It also accommodates lab module for the group. It also eases out handling stocks among multiple chains.

I have more than one practice. Can Vision Plus help me to manage multiple practice's?

The Vision Plus installation team works with you to determine your practice’s specific needs – from a standalone optical practice to practice’s hosted from a central location to practice’s each replicated in a head office location. Everything is covered in the technical architecture of the software, we just need to match this to your situation and preferences.

Will I have a completely paperless practice?

We understand most the optician consulting rooms are comparatively small. Therefore, the Vision Plus optician software has been designed to be accessible on a tablet, Mac, Ipad or any device which has internet connectivity. The software’s in-built workflows facilitate incorporating the normal paper based process flow into the digital format.

Will my data be safe?

Yes, your data will be completely safe. We have two servers based in the UK wherein one server mirrors the other, making your data completely safe. SSL also provided as additional security. SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) is the standard security technology for establishing an encrypted link between a web server and a browser. This link ensures that all data passed between the web server and browsers remain private and integral.
